Two drivers speed toward each other.
Two drivers speed toward each other. Each can swerve or drive straight. Both swerve: each loses a little pride. One swerves and the other drives straight: the straight driver wins, and the one who swerved loses pride. Both drive straight: they crash, the worst result for both.
Do you swerve or drive straight?
The worst result is both of you driving straight.
Each driver wants to be the one who goes straight while the other swerves.
Two results stay put: you swerve while they drive straight, or they swerve while you drive straight.
If the other driver knows you never swerve, they are the one who has to give way.
